Application of Terms

  1. All purchases of products from the Canon Merchandise Store are governed by these Terms of Sale. By ordering products from the Canon Merchandise Store you agree to be bound by these Terms of Sale.
  2. Canon reserves the right to change these Terms of Sale at any time, however, such changes will only apply to orders accepted by Canon after that time.
  3. Canon's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use also apply to your use of the Canon Merchandise Store. To the extent of any inconsistency, these Terms of Sale prevail.


  1. An order placed by you within the Canon Merchandise Store is an offer to purchase a product from Canon. Canon reserves the right to reject any order for any reason.
  2. You may not cancel an order once it has been submitted unless it is in accordance with these Terms of Sale.

Cancellation due to Error

  1. You acknowledge that despite our best efforts, products may be displayed with incorrect pricing or other information, or may be out of stock, due to an error or oversight. In such circumstances, and subject to applicable law, Canon reserves the right to cancel an accepted order at any time prior to delivery, in which case any payment received will be refunded.


  1. The prices of products and delivery will be as specified within the Canon Merchandise Store at the time of placement of your order. Those prices include GST.


  1. Standard delivery to addresses within Australia is $10.95. Canon does not deliver to post office boxes (or similar services), or outside Australia.
  2. Any delivery dates specified within the Canon Merchandise Store and/or in any communication from Canon to you are estimates only. While Canon will use its best endeavours to meet such dates, we will not be liable to you for any failure to do so.

10.  Title and Risk

  1. Title, and risk of loss or damage to the products, will pass to you on delivery of the products to the address identified in your order.
  2. A signature is required on delivery, and it is your responsibility to ensure someone is available to sign for your order.

Your Obligations

  1. You represent that any information provided by you when placing an order is up-to-date, materially accurate, and sufficient for Canon to fulfil your order.
  2. You represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a contract.
  3. You are responsible for keeping your password and other access details secure against unauthorized access. You release Canon from any liability incurred as a result of any activity that occurs using your user details.
  4. You represent and agree that you are not acquiring products for the purposes of reselling them.

Warranties and Consumer Guarantees

  1. Products from the Canon Merchandise Store are covered by the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

Returns and Refunds

  1. We understand there may be times when you wish to return an item. If you change your mind about your purchase, we are happy to offer you a refund or exchange within 30 days of the date of delivery.
  2. Items must be unworn, in original saleable condition, with all tags, labels and original packaging attached and accompanied by proof of purchase (your original receipt).
  3. Refunds will be issued using your original payment method. Any original and return postage costs will not be reimbursed unless the item(s) are faulty or defective; or not as ordered. In this instance, please contact our customer service team and we will endeavour to assist you.
  4. To start a return, you can contact us here. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.

Damages and issues

  1. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


  1. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us here.

Limitation of Liability

  1. In relation to products which are not ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use or consumption, and which fail to comply with a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law, Canon limits its liability to its option of:
    replacing the products or supplying equivalent products;
    b. repairing the products;
    c. paying the cost of replacing the products or of acquiring equivalent products; or
    d. paying the cost of having the products repaired.


  1. These Terms of Sale state the full extent of our potential liability to you in respect of the supply of products from the Canon Merchandise Store. All other potential liabilities are expressly excluded.
  2. If any provision of these Terms of Sale is unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be severed from these Terms of Sale and the remaining Terms of Sale will remain in full force and effect.
  3. These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of New South Wales. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
  4. “Canon” means Canon Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 66 005 002 951).
